We at Bal Kalyan Kendra, Baramati, District Pune, Maharashtra express our heartfelt gratitude to Ashray-Akruti for their generous support towards the education of students at our Residential School for Children with Hearing Impairment.

Historical milestone of Bal Kalyan Kendra, Baramati: RCI accredited CRE training program successful Program Review Yesterday was an important and proud day in the history ofBal Kalyan Kendra, Baramati. For the first time in our organization, a three-day offline training program on Continuing Rehabilitation Education (CRE) accredited by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) was organized. This event was not just a program for us—it was a historic step in the development of the organization. A dream of 30–35 years realized It was my big dream for many years to connect the Bal Kalyan Kendra, Baramati, which is working in the field of disability, with RCI.RCI contacted me many times in the past; but due to busy schedule, I was not able to take the dialogue further. And this phase was delayed. This year, this dream became a reality due to the strong initiative taken by Mr. Saurabh Mulik. Our hearing impaired school’s, young and dynamic full timer speech therapist. Experts from all over Maharashtra attended and addressed the CRE program The following professionals from various fields attended the CRE program in Baramati: My personal moment of satisfaction. I got the opportunity to give a two hour lecture on the topic of “Co-Curricular Education in the Field of disability ”. I am a child development expert by profession, and started the school through the organization to make my knowledge and experience useful in the development of disabled children. Although the school has been running for decades, this was the first time I got the opportunity to speak in front of such a quality, dedicated and knowledge seeker, experienced audience. I enjoyed the experience. This one program has made the name of the Bal Kalyan Kendra, Baramati, known to every corner of Maharashtra — this is a great achievement for us. Future path: Regular expansion of CRE programs We should organize such CRE programs frequently, Because educational and social work is a long-term investment. Mango saplings do not bear fruit immediately after planting; It requires follow-up, time, care, perseverance and consistency. Similarly, It is important to continue working with an unbiased attitude, without expecting that today’s work will yield immediate profit or returns. In a few years, this tree will become even bigger. Its shadow will spread beyond Maharashtra and across India. I firmly believe that. Best wishes My heartfelt wishes and full cooperation for every future initiative of the organization. 13/11/2025. – Dr. Anil Mokashi (Pediatrician)MBBS, MD, DCH, FIAP, PhD(Child Growth and Development)
