My Journey

My academic journey began with an MBBS from Nagpur University, followed by an M.D. and DCH from Mumbai University, and later, a Ph.D. in Pediatrics, with a focus on Child Growth and Development from Pune University. My work is fueled by a passion for child health and a belief in making advanced pediatric care accessible to every child, regardless of their circumstances.

Ujwal Bhavitavy School Health Services

As a firm believer in the importance of early intervention, I founded Ujwal Bhavitavy School Health Services, a full-time, on-premises health initiative that offers free healthcare services to children in schools. This program ensures that every child receives the medical attention they need to thrive academically and physically.

Bal Kalyan Kendra

One of my most cherished projects is Bal Kalyan Kendra, an institution dedicated to the education and development of mentally challenged, hearing-impaired, and differently-abled children. Established in 1979, our school provides specialized education, vocational training, and therapeutic services to children with diverse needs. Our facilities include a Child Guidance Clinic, a Physiotherapy Clinic, and an Audiology and Speech Therapy Clinic, all aimed at providing comprehensive care and support to our students.

Commitment to Child Welfare

Beyond my clinical practice, I have been actively involved in numerous initiatives aimed at improving child welfare. As a Juvenile Magistrate and an active participant in adoption facilitation through Yashodanand Pariwar, I work to ensure that every child finds a loving and supportive home. Additionally, through my work at Baramati Food Processing Pvt Ltd, I contribute to the production of infant weaning foods and therapeutic foods for malnourished children.

Sharing Knowledge

Education and knowledge-sharing are core to my philosophy. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to teach as a postgraduate instructor for DCH and DNB programs, helping shape the next generation of pediatricians. As the Editor and Owner of the Journal of Rural Pediatrics, I am committed to advancing pediatric care through research and discussion.

I have also authored several books and articles, and regularly participate in lectures, radio, and television programs to raise awareness about child health issues. My goal is to empower parents, caregivers, and healthcare professionals with the knowledge they need to provide the best care possible.
